English, Hindi, and Urdu captions on your own PC

Creators in Pakistan and India often mix English with Urdu or Hindi in the same video. A clipper that only hears English will print nonsense on screen.

Mani Clips includes Whisper models in the Windows installer. Transcription runs locally, so you are not uploading the audio to a third-party caption website.

Always preview. Automatic speech is good, not magic. Names, slang, and overlapping speakers still need a glance. Drag the caption if it covers a face, then download.

If a clip is mostly one language, keep captions in that language. Mixed speech is fine — just make sure the on-screen words are what a muted viewer would need.
